As many players from Nottingham & further afield that attend our comps that also read this forum i am posting this as our latest news.

Hi

I have introduced a new grade for derbyshire snooker, its an EX PRO grade, as always we are always on the move and upgrading and testing new ideas out! the grade system normally moves up in a value of 7, but on this occasion i am trying a happy medium off -10 for ex pros! it has been mentioned from a few players! and i think now that the last 4 comps have been won bye an EX PRO we will put this into operation and is now live.

along with many of our goals its the aim to encourage not discourage anyone from playing in our comps, some players will also not want to take there handicap and play off levels, that is entirly up to the player on the day, it is expected tho that the player that has forfeted his or her handicap remains playing off the same handicap for the rest of the days tournament.

as always feedback welcome as its all a learning curve and feedback from the players is paramount for progression.
