Then you have to factor things like Monday or Tuesday? 1frame or 2? If traveling further it will be more worth while playing 2frames rather than 1, BUT time is always an issue :-/

I used to have long brown hair once,and have the photos. It's you lot that has sent me like I am now. My job is easy for me. It's you lot that make things complicated. I just laugh!

Kwok you need to join the board!! Kwok has a point i think maybe i could lose a few players like Shaun Parkinson who already travels from ilkeston for any match going to mansfield makes a late night...
Then Alan from Hucknall then for anybody who works til last minute.com yes we only have to venture out a few times but its the time, would playing these particular clubs start at 8.00 pm? Lots of stress but not for me personally i would love new challenges i think a poll is in order

Couldn't disagree with you more Toby. If they can get to BCI by 7:00, then they can get to Mansfield by 7:30. They only have to do it once a season. What's the problem? Ilkeston to BCI - 10 minutes at the most- 15 if you get a lot of traffic. BCI to Towers 20 minutes if you take the easy route. Hucknall is on the way there so what's the problem. Kwok is creating problems when there isn't any. Can't see us losing teams for 1 match. Are you all wimps? I was looking at teams in the Hertfordshire league the other day and they travel miles to venues. 30 mile round trips in some cases.

From BCI to Towers is prob no different from driving from BCI to South East Derby, Cotgrave or even Ruddington.

Going on route planner it takes aprox

20 mins to South East Derby
20 mins to Ruddington
25 mins to Towers
27 mins to Cotgrave

In driving terms what is 7 mins between all them clubs.

Least at Towers you will get the use of 2 tables im sure, so on that basis is not gonna be a late night as it would if you were to play at Ruddington.
