Stadium Leisure vs Pegasus 04/12/07

At Stadium Chris Piech managed a good 29 break, keeping Alan Ball at bay to take the frame after many safety exchanges in a long 40 min bout.

A fairly scrappy 2nd frame with Ross Wilkin missing a few chances, but was held back well by Rick Worrall's excellent safety and snookers. Rick maybe shoud've finished Ross off earlier, but still secured the frame on the final black.

In the 3rd, Mark Bradley started well with a 16 and 15, despite his tip flying off and having to use someone else's cue! Despite his lead, Mike Langdon played some good safety to claw it back and snatched the frame with a 22 break on the last of the colours.

In the doubles, Mark and Ross managed to catch up after a good start by Chris and Rick with a 15 break from Mark, but the Pegasus lads took the frame in clinical fashion.

Over at Pegasus, Barry Stark and Chris Brooks kicked off with a lot of safety exchanges but Chris knocked in a 30 break and Barry was too far behind on the colours to recover.

In the 2nd, Steve Butler managed a good 19 along with some excellent safety but Jamie Mathers made a well constructed 50 break to secure the frame.

No big breaks from Peter Gormley or Steve Booth in the next but following 2 in-offs from Steve, 'Pistol Pete' pinched it with a miraculous final black.

A nip and tuck affair in the doubles with a couple of 16 breaks, with Chris fouling the green twice. Steve Butler went on to capitalise, clinching the frame on the green.
