You would never know what delights lie in wait as you climb the steps leading to the modest entrance at Carlton Liberal Club.



We entered the club to find all but one of its four tables being put to good use.  The regulars made us very welcome and the kettle was already boiling by the time the boys broke off in their 12th frame of the Tour.
