I know there's been a lot of talk/moaning recently about travelling to various clubs that are entitled to play in the Notts league. I've just looked at the link to Jon & Steve's snooker challenge to play a frame in every club that is within the NG postcode/boundary. The club that I found on their map which I think is the furthest south is Bunny's Men's Institute, NG11 6QT & the furthest north is Harworth Comrades Club, DN11 8EF. Using www.theaa.com route finder. These 2 clubs are separated by some 44.3 miles (avoiding the motorway) taking 1 hour 7 mins. If you use the M1 it's then 54 miles & takes an extra 3 minutes (1hour 10 minutes). Any thoughts gents

I stand corrected. Gotham RBL is 0.1 mile further away which takes an extra 4 minutes

Better have decent tables lol and take a pack lunch!

Surely there are several teams/clubs in Sleaford that are further away than most of the other clubs in the NG postcode area. They all have NG postcodes. That's much further to travel than the clubs you have nominated. Still As I I said before if you are doing it for the pleasure it shouldn't matter how far it is or how long it takes. It's all a matter of organising yourself to get there.

By the way it's 48.58 miles to Sleaford and will take 1 hour and 13 minutes to get there by car from Gotham RBL.

Just thought I would let you know.

I couldn't care where I play snooker, not fussed if I play good or bad! Just a enjoyable game to play or watch

You're right Bob about Sleaford being 1 hr 13 mins from Gotham RBL but none of the clubs in Sleaford are on the map that Jon & Steve have on their "Where to play snooker in Nottinghamshire" link. I simply took the club that was furthest south & the club that is furthest north from that link. I/we at The Towers have absolutely no problem in travelling to any venue  (again Bob you're right) because we enjoy the game.
