Congratulations to Pegasus 'A' who completed the NHSL league treble last night with a solid win over Gotham RBL in the Secretaries Shield final.

Well done team - excellent performance against a talented and tricky Gotham side.

Brilliant season topped off by some great individual and team performances over the past year.

A big pat on the back,from myself and on behalf of our Gotham lot!!

But we're pretty pleased in our first season together . . .
runners up in Div 3,(so up the ladder to Div 2) . . .
And cup winners over Rileys the other week . . .
So won one final lost one,pretty good going i say . . .

But you lot have done great,and although last night none of us were really  'firing on all cylinders' . . .
it was a great night win or lose . . .

And my personal thanks,to Lenton for their,as always great hospitality,and for putting on the 'spread' . . .

Well put Steve.

I don't think anyone was at there best last night but it was a really enjoyable evening.
Danny and Jamie were out of sorts and gave both NIck and Rich a few chances which they took to keep the frame tight all the way down to the black, Nick having a clear chance to clear the coulors but missed an  easy brown.(rushing and snatching again)
Chris and Mark potted well and took advantage of some misfortune from Steve Howard going in off a few times.
Final frame Nav not getting much of a chance in the frame but Wayne showed his class with a great 49 break to seal the win.

Its been a good season for both teams. :welldone: :bravo: :bravo:

It's been a very enjoyable season and I hope everyone who has taken part in the league this season has enjoyed themselves.

The new season will start in September but there will be a presentation and golf day in August (details to follow) ......
