Nick got off to a decent start in the first frame. Shaun needing a snooker with brown to black left and getting it, but Nick managed to pot the brown and blue to win the frame.
Frame 2 Nick got going early with a break of 23 and a couple of teen breaks shortly followed to go 43 up with just the colours left.
Frame 3 Shaun got off to a flyer leaving Nick well behind, but Nick put a couple of small breaks together to actually go 2 points in front with just the black left. Shaun played the black up the table for a safety but over hit it, and the black looking like it would go over the middle pocket but found its way in. Shaun deserved the frame as he played so well.
Frame 4 Nick got a very good lead very early on and Shaun missing one or two pots he shouldn't have and needed snookers by the time we got to the colours.

Cheers Shaun for the match, I know it wasn't your day and I'm sure it will be a lot different in our return match. Good luck for the rest of the season.
