Notts Amateur Snooker Championships 2009/10

Nottinghamshire Amateur Snooker

Dear All,

Notts snooker is in a rich vein at the moment thanks to the time given by the organisers of The Nazareth House Snooker League and Nottingham & Notts Institutes Association as well as One Day and Club Competitions.

Well here's another one for all Amateur Snooker Players.

The Notts Amateur Snooker Competition is now taking entries for the 2009/2010 Championships.  Last year we had 40 players enter the three competitions which was very pleasing taking into account its return after a few years absent.

We are running two scratch competitions over the 2009/2010 season.

The competitions will be based on the EASB English Club Competitions, which means it is open to anyone who is resident or plays from a club in the Nottinghamshire area, and the player must not be taking part in the WSA Main Tour.

A small committee has been set up including myself, Mr Steve Butler & Mr Alan Cunningham. (Anyone else interested please give me a call.)

Notts Amateur Main   Open to all ages                    Fee   £ 10.00

Notts Amateur Juniors   Open to players under 18 before 31/12/2009       "   £ 10.00

So far we have arranged sponsorships for the Main Competition from Mr Peter Trout @ Bulwell Church Institute & for the Juniors Competition from Mr Dave Gibson @ Beeston Snooker Hall.

It may be late or im just crazy but i must try and compete against them great players how else would i get arse :oops: whooping experience  :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: please enter me Sean [risky] croft in the Notts Amateur Main comp and do you know if it starts on the 22/12/09 or after just so i can arrange a lift lol  :laugh: but to make sure i can not enter the junior comp my d.o.b is 9/6/1991 makes me to old doesn't it shame.
