October's Handicap dates at the club are 11th & 25th - 11am start - £10 entry.

Best of three Main and Plate - All players 3 matches unless on money.

29 entrants in the last event won by improving local 17 year old Ashik Nathwani who has took a year off from college to concentrate on the game, Nathwani beat 75 year old Brummie Albert Davey.

Hiren Zinwadia spilt the plate finals money with Newark's Dave Jobling.

Of the 53 matches 28 went to the deciding frame.

Club team player Glen James has seen his Handicap now plummet to +28 from +49 in a year.  Jai Platts awesome young long potter with learning problems in his 4th final.

Driving instructor Gary Spencer teaches teenager Adam King a lesson in the plate final.

Ash Patel not sighted/played for over a year stated he required more start due to his absence had his request ignored and promptly won the event without losing a frame beating another improving WT player Lee Hall who has now tumbled to +21.

Mick Kirk whose handicap has crept up due to a run of poor shows lately won the plate beating Sunil Kashyap 2-1 on a respot.
