Frame 1:  Norton  70 (27) - 42  Robinson
Norton leading 53-42 going into the colours. Robinson left a great chance after missing the yellow and Norton cleared the colours (with a lucky cannon on the brown to help him along.

Frame 2:  Norton   53 - 39   Robinson
Tight scrappy one.  A good snooker was enough to shave it after Robinson was snookered on the last red and behind the black right in the corner.  3 free balls were the difference.

Frame 3:  Norton  32 - 75   Robinson
Robinson came back strongly with some excellent potting to clinch this frame.  Had Norton relaxed too soon???

Frame 4:  Norton  68 - 34   Robinson
No risks taken here by Norton. Just the odd 8 to 12 point breaks followed by tight safety.  Robinson got very few chances and was frustrated to lose the frame.

A long overdue win for me in this competition. PHEW!  Hard luck Adam, it was a bad time to play me really as I'm starting to turn it around, albeit with a lot of filthy tactics.

Thanks.  I'm trying my best with doing the back to basics approach and not just going for breaks.  The frame where I didn't Adam punished me with some great shots so lucky I did.

Any news on the meeting?

Are you OK to play at Spot On Sneinton on Thursday Jordan?

Jordan

Yeah that will be fine mate, see you there at 8pm.

Sorry Daniel but is there any chance we can play our match at pegasus instead?
Thanks, Jordan

Daniel

Sorry mate.  I haven't won a match at Pegasus since last summer!

I had a look at my results and had a chat with myself.  Before last summer I used to practice at Spot On and  was playing better then so...

Where do you think I played this match with Adam?
