Pegasus    7   Cotgrave Welfare 1
Harry Brody (Cotgrave) 49

Pegasus got back to winning ways with a resounding 7-1 victory over Cotgrave Welfare.  A knock of 35 helped Chris Brooks on his way to a seventh straight singles win. Rick Worrall came out on top of a scrappy frame with some good potting on the colours whilst Jamie Mathers ended Pegasus's black ball hoodoo in the most fortunate way.  His opponent looked to have pinched the frame when he sunk the black but his joy was short lived as the cue ball went in-off.  Chris Brooks and Rick Worrall then made it a four-nil home drubbing in the pairs.  At Cotgrave there was a black ball win for Chris Piech in a tactical hour long epic against Robbie Keane look-a-like Anthony McMahan.  Mike Langdon took control in his match against Steve Richards with a good 31 break in a frame he went onto win comfortably, but, the highest break of the evening was made by Cotgrave's impressive Harry Brody. Steve Booth had no reply to his his superb 49 break which was Cotgrave's only win of the evening as the Pegasus pairing of Chris Piech and Mike Langdon recovered a thirty point deficit to win in the doubles and help the team to their best win so far this season.
