our a league winners v your a league winners or maybe a singles tourny between our county cup winner and yours?

Jim,

This is a good idea.  I can put a team together for a challenge match.  How many players would you have in a team?

Do you have an old trophy knocking about anywhere?

We could possibly do both, ie. a team challenge and the respective singles champions playing each other.  We have two leagues in Nottingham that publish their results via these pages and Wayne Martin and Chris Brooks are the top singles champions from those two leagues.  I could arrange a match between the two of them with the winner earning the right to represent the County.

What do you have in mind for the venue?  If you lay on a bit of food and provide the tables I'm sure there would be no problem getting people to travel over to Cueball for this event.
