Your right though, as soon as Jordan or James pots a couple of reds and blacks its frame over.

35 hcp would give both pairs a fair challenge.

i know i am not in this competition but i think 50 is an outrageous handicap in a doubles match. It's simply not fair. If it were me i would give them a w/o as a protest gesture. It's absolutely ridiculous. should be capped at say 35 and even that's a lot.

Anyway kwok, a long time ago when you asked me if i wanted to enter the bci coms, i was new to the forum, and did actually reply that i would like to. i sent it as a personal message to you on the forum , but obviously i hit the wrong buttons on the keyboard. Definitely intend to enter them next year. i do regret not having entered them years ago when i was playing regularly at bci. I think the only year i entered the singles i got banned from the club for a "sober" outburst in the semi final stage (against a chap called "Mr Singh" - you know the one who drives a ferrarri). They wouldn't delay the deadline until my 3 month ban was over so i was out !!!! I was a very naughty boy in them days but have eventually grown up.

In a doubles game int it the lowest handicap of each pairs ? Ie ...if Wayne is scr then surley the opposing team hast a lowest handicap of 50 !! I think it 25 atleast and that's just James handicap  .  What they have done is added the handicaps together .....oooops  :laugh: :laugh:

50 does seem a little on the high side....I think 35 would seem fairer for both sides as Nick mentioned earlier...I played with Hanson last year and we were up against some severe handicapping... on a positive note at least both wayne and sean are both capable of pulling the start back given good conditions.....

Bash - Yes it's a great go see you back in action and more importantly back with vengeance matey!!! It's a shame you missed out of our prestigious club championships this year! I knew you would have loved to enter but I needed your confirmation!!! It's a great competition as you know with a quality field of players, a challenging best of 5, best of 7 in the semi's and a best of 9 in the ultimate final to find our ultimate worthy Champion!!!

It's a shame but your'll have to wait untill next year to give it a "Bash!" Lol  :laugh:
