Another draw (fell like I'm turning into Dan Moll, the draw specialist) lol. Match played early due to me working away in July. Played at Steve's "man cave". Beautiful room Steve, shame about the guy(s) who fitted it. That table has got masses of potential. Those of you who haven't played there or been there. Steve has got a very old & absolutely beautiful Burroghes & Watts table which must be circa 100 years old. Steve has had it all refurbished (it looks a million dollars). But, the guy must have had his eyes shut fitting it. The slate joins need filling & sanding level & the cloth needs a total re fit to sort out the sagging. Once done this will be a beautiful table in a beautiful home.
Before anyone bangs on too. Steve asked me for some advice on the table because he knew of my match table at The Towers. I told him of the above issues that in my option need addressing & I've given him a number of a proper table fitter (Mr. Briggs).

First frame Steve won with me struggling to get used to the table. I won the 2nd & 3rd to guarantee at least a point. I had a chance to seal the win but missed a very thin cut on the blue into a dodgy middle bag. Steve pots blue & after a few safety shots. Steve cuts back the pink to earn a draw. Only break was a 43 by Steve in the last.

Thanks Steve for playing early & good luck with your remaining matches.
