Pete Gormley & Clary Plowman 1-2 Neil Elliott & Tom

[Pete]

Oldest pairs team in the league (combined age 138) on verge of upset

Cannon Ball Clary and Pistol Pete were beaten 2-1 after being 1-0 up and 15 ahead with only 25 left in the second frame.  A miraculous 25 clearance by Neil Elliott levelled the match winning on the black.  Frame 3 - Bulwell ahead by 30, a delightful 16 by Pete late on reduced the arrears to 1 and Neil sunk a long blue with a dream kiss on the pink to steal the match ? gutted!
