Good tactical match this!!! Jamie going 2 nil up,the first frame being a low scoring one, I eventually got a frame on the board with the help of a 20 break I think? but I made hard work of it!!!! I should of seen the frame out comfortable with Jamie needing three snookers he got two of them coming down to the colours and maybe would have got a third if he hadn't snooker himself getting on to the blue. Going into the fourth frame Jamie build up a good lead I crawl my way back coming down to the colours I needed blue pink and black to salvage a draw I potted a great blue but because of the angle of the shot I couldn't get the right side of the pink which was sitting over the middle pocket so I clipped it fine hoping to miss the top corner pocket to come back down for the black which was just below its own spot but never got a good white so played safe left Jamie a shot to nothing which he missed to my joy then I played an up and down on got a good length on the black but the white I left a few I inches short of the back cushion so a good 9ft from white to black Jamie went down and screwed a great black to pinch the match. Good luck in your remaining matches Jamie always a pleasure playing you great all round player.

With regards your quote #4framessucks, Toby from BCI made a good valid point the other week. He said 5 frames would be better, awarding 1pt per frame so every frame is equally important and people don't give up if they are 3-0 down with still 2 points to play for.

Only slight negative is time and money for people to play 5 frame matches. I can't see it being a problem for good  seasonal players like yourselves

Yes Ant definitely deserved a draw as he outplayed me in at least two of the frames even though the scoreline doesn't read that way...Also Ant never mentioned he got a shocking run of the ball in the first frame where several occasions he potted good reds but didn't land nicely on colours...

Thanks Jamie for your kind comments much appreciated mate. Your a class act!!! Like I said previously you never know when your beat!! I think some of that rubbed off on me last night! And yes maybe on another night I might have got the draw but snooker can be cruel sometimes but that's part of the game I suppose. Your looking a strong favourite now!!! Kind regards Ant😄

No Sean, when I was playing in Ireland before I moved to Nottingham some 26 years ago now lol. Some of the players I played with at the Victoria Snooker Club were amazed how much side I could put on the cue ball lol they gave me a nickname which I was unaware of lol😆
