The South?s Alex Dunkley added September?s Under 21?s, Willie Thorne?s
(ex Potters) to his seasons haul of titles, four in total, now virtually assured of claiming the series title in his first full season in the highly regarded event.

In a repeat of last months final Dunkley defeated Kevin Yates 3-2 from a small field of 15 numbers way down due to the Pontins Festival.

Dunkley lost the first frame (11-51) after a break of 44 from Yates, won the second low scoring game (47-4) lost the third (14-49) another nondescript game.

A run of 30 secured the forth frame (59-34) and a 24 break to a 31 from Yates (77-39) gave Dunkley his 4th success with three events remaining.

The winner only lost one frame in the days earlier rounds beating James Jelley 4-0, 68 break, Ryan Mears 4-0, Mears 45, Dunkley 65 and travelling companion Ollie Tydeman 4-1 in his first semi final.
