I am going to speak to Pete Trout about the possibility of holding all four semi-finals at BCI Snooker Centre.  That would make for a cracking evening.  I'll keep you updated!

Division 2 Play Off Semi-Finals
Cotgrave Welfare v Oaklegh Lodge Social Club
Arnold Civil Defence B v Wollaton RBL

Note: Cotgrave and Arnold finished dead level on points and frame difference so we looked at the record between the two sides.  Both league matches finished 4-4 so the deciding factor was the division 2 cup match which Cotgrave won 4-3.  So it was decided that Cotgrave have finished in 3rd place and Arnold in 4th.

The venue(s) for the semi-finals will be published as soon as possible.

I have agreed with Pete Trout that all four play-off semi-finals will be played at BCI Snooker Centre.

Please arrive at 7.45pm ready for an 8pm start.

BCI has 7 tables downstairs and 2 tables upstairs.  We will not be using table 7, the match table.  That will be kept free for use by BCI club members.

I will do a random draw on the night to allocate each match to a pair of tables as follows:

A reminder that play-off matches consist of 6 singles frames.  In the event that the score is 3-3 after the 6 frames, a final pairs frame will be played to decide the winner.  The pair can consist of any two players chosen by the team captain.

I'm looking forward to what should be a great night!
