30.10.07 - Arnold A 4 v Pegasus 4

GET THE RULE BOOK OUT ! ! .
Arnold away - Chris WINTER, Gary SPENCER and John FOUNTAIN all lost but Chris WINTER playing with James NOTMAN potted the final black. i.e. Pegasus 3-1
Arnold home - Tony HART & Malc BELSHAW both won their singles but Brian KINTON lost, ie 2-1 to Arnold going into the final pairs. Malc BELSHAW & Richard TOOLEY versus Chris PIETCH and Scott ?. Nip and tuck with Scott taking the brown,blue,pink and black - scores level, respottd black.
Toss up, I understand Pegasus won and put Arnold in, Malc Belshaw 'broke' and Chris PIETCH got down and played the next shot, something was said to the frame ref, Brian KINTON, and he announced that as it was the SAME FRAME the Pegasus players had gone out of turn ! ! ! and awarded the frame to ARNOLD, Highly charged dispute which eventually Mikel (Pegasus) agreed that we would accept the fact that the frame had been awardd to Arnold (Arnold win 3-1, hence 4-4.
BUT, until it could be resolved officially, it was suggested and accepted that the respotted black ball frame be continued - at which point Richard TOOLEY got down and potted a tremendous black in the top left hand corner - Arnold 3-1.  Total 4-4.
