NORTH - CUE GARDENS, BRADFORD
THOMAS WEALTHY 4TH DIFFERENT WINNER


Thomas Wealthy who had failed to progress past the group stage in the previous three events became the Regions 4th different winner defeating Sam Thistlewhite 2-0 in the final of the Regional Junior Tour North, Cue Gardens, Bradford. Wealthy who leaps up to 8th in the rankings from 37th won both frames in the final on the pink or black as Thistlewhite the 7th player to reach a final this season could not find his early scoring touch which included a 112 break.

Mitchell Travis reclaims top spot in the rankings from the 59 players who have entered.

Wealthy overcame earlier event winners Thomas Pendlebury and Travis on his way to the final, Thistlewhite who never lost a frame in the groups reduced to two frames due to the size of the entry won all his knockout matches 2-0.

Jonathan Bradley topped his group with a clean sheet other group winners Anthony Green, Travis, Sean Pritchard, Kevin Yates and Jonathan Buglass.

SOUTH - NEWMARKET SNOOKER AND BOWL
HARRISON 3RD WIN IN 4 EVENTS


Ben Harrison continues to monopolise the Regional Junior Tour South and sealed his promotion to the Premier Junior Tour next season by winning Event 4, Newmarket Snooker and Bowl, defeating Nick Jennings 2-1 in the final.

Jennings in his 1st final of the series won the first frame however Harrison in his 4th consecutive final with breaks of 44 and 45 captured his 3rd title to lead Nathan Jones who lost to Harrison in the last 16 by over 300 points. Ryan Mears remains in 3rd place whilst Jennings leaps up to 4th from 10th and a possible promotion place with two events remaining.

Highest break in Suffolk was a 99 from Callum Downing followed by a 94 from Danny Douane and an 89 from young Shahrukh Nasir.

Other group winners besides the finalists were Billy Castle the only player not to lose a frame plus younger brother Shane who reached the last eight, Mears, Sam Harvey, Luke Garland and Sean O?Sullivan.
