BCI Super Elites proved too strong overall against Pegasus 'C' to move into the next round.
Pegasus though gave a good account of themselves away from home along with some run of the ball only losing by 18 points. I have it on good authority from Kwok that it was a thumping victory at Pegasus by BCI!

At BCI –

Barry Stark     60-14=46   v   Matt Hearson-Ellis   64+14=78
Matt pulled off a shock win here with Barry not having one of his best nights. Matt made a well constructed 29 break early on and Barry struggled to get going. Then on the colours the frame was still close, Barry missed a tricky pink leaving a trickier pot into the middle for Matt. Matt got this and then a tough black close to the side cushion to nick the frame regardless of the handicap.

Neil Elliott     69+7=76    v   Ross Wilkin   27+28=55
Didnt see much of this frame as was too busy beating Barry! Well i have to shout about it sorry Barry! Ross might be able to add something about his frame?!

Jamie Moore   98-14=84   v   Daniel 'Glasses' Norton    30+42=72
Jamie made a cracking 50 break which i thought was going to be more but he missed a red to the middle. After this the frame went a bit farcical and drawn out. Dan you really need to teach me how to miss pots in such a way that they always go safe! Jamie couldn't believe his luck! Dan then cracked us all up when he got his glasses out for a long shot. He did no more than put them on to eye up the shot, and then take them off to play the shot!! Whats that all about Dan?!!

Barry / Jamie   89-14=75   v   Matt / Daniel    44+14=58
A scrappy last frame with the match result coming in from Pegasus half way through. No breaks but a right good laugh with Dan still playing those cracking safety shots.

Overall scores at BCI were BCI SE 281 v Pegasus C 263

An enjoyable last match of the season and well played to BCI, good luck in the next round. :bravo: :welldone: :england:

It was a good solid away performance by Team Bci Super Elites!!!

The first match staggered off between the two barrels >> Steve v's Jon or should i say Carling v's Foster's "i'm sure Steve won't be offended as he kept saying last night, well you gotta have a laugh haven't you!" Any way the two barrels fueled with anougth "Alco to pop!" Jon managed to down more "shots" the quickest and raced back over the barr to get a few more in before the next frame got under way!!!  Jon staggered over the line with a narrow win over Steve 44 pints v's 55 pints in the opening frame.

A slight delay ment Jason played Chris's leg first! Jason was giving a huge 56 pts Handicap! Jason soon made great inroads with breaks of 37 & 24 and going on to take a comfortable impressive 122pts victory in frame number two.

Bash soon added to the tally with a superb frame over Pegasus Andy, Breaks of 40,16 & 60  in a awsome 116 points victory!!!

The deadly duo took on Chris and Steve, and was both still in fne form, Bash with some outstanding pots and mini break and good safety contributions, before a silky smooth striking Jason added with a superb break of 54.

Hard luck team Pegasus C, What a barrel of laughs you are

Some of those safety shots were deliberate you cheeky ****er!  Oh yes, the specs.... I was just desperate to see the ball clearly when it was beyond 10 feet away (I was just guessing where the edge of the ball was on the long ones).  Thank God we didn't film it - I bet I looked a right tit!

This handicap business is strange.  Jamie hammered me.  I kept breaking down after 2 or 3 pots and only lost by 12 points?!?!

What the bloody hell were the home team doing?  I thought we struggled away.

It was never going to be easy for us.  Good job you played well, Matt.  At one point I thought we were going to get back in the frame in the doubles but it wasn't to be.  We were outplayed and you deserved to go through Elites.
:bravo: :welldone:

i think kwoks elites team played a very strong team and didnt take no chances to guarantee safe passage through to the next round of the cup/plate. after last weeks disappointment of missing out on more (league) silverware, i think its obvious the team has their eyes set on at least something this from this nhsl season. looks like it was a gd job that at least the away team did a very good job of scoring last nite. some fantastic breaks on the night down at pegasus. gd goin elites lads! and gotta mention everyone had a great laugh and shared some jokes with the fine pegasus c guys.

Ross Wilkin

Matt if you're still interested (unlikely!) Neil played solid against me. I didn't do anything rash but I did try to develop the black, pink and reds early on from long pots that didnt work out. That let in Neil who handled small breaks around the pink and black, long opening reds and safety with equal strength. Straightforward really, I did my best!

Well played BCI Super Elites....too Super for us mere mortals!!
