Mark Hayman managed to nick a 3-2 win against Tony Casey, maintaining his 100% record and climbing to 53rd position on the Ladder. Mark only recently joined the Ladder and he has already risen 21 places.
Rob Garratt looked on course to go 1-0 up against Alan Caulton but after taking yellow to pink he missed frame ball black whch Alan gratefully potted. A couple of fortunate snookers proved decisive in the second frame, which Alan pinched to take a 2-0 lead. Alan then won the third more convincingly after Rob threw caution to the wind, a good 3-0 victory for Alan which moves him up to 31st position.
Dan Moll held on to 29th position with an excellent 3-0 win against Andy Wright who remains 38th.
Sam Burton travelled to my house for our second match of the season and this time it was me who managed a 3-2 win, but it took a good clearance from blue to black in the decider to pinch an unlikely victory. I had led 1-0 and 2-1 but Sam played some solid snooker to force the decider. It was a pretty scrappy match, but a win is a win and I retain 23rd position whilst Sam stays in 27th.
Toby Bowley and Warren Benjamin were involved in a really close match which Toby edged 3-2 on the pink. The win moves Toby up to 59th position.
Shane Fella successfully defended 43rd position with a 3-1 win against Ishan Seth.
