Nav Hussain's 35 day stint at the top of the Ladder was brought to an abrupt end by Tony Morgan who regained 1st position with an excellent 4-1 win at Spot On Sneinton. Tony won the first two frames and in frame three, with Nav just needing the black to force a re-spot, Tony audaciously duoubled it into the yellow pocket to go 3-0 up. Nav made breaks of 38 and 36 to take frame four and briefly halt Tony's charge. But Tony closed out the match with some excellent safety play before potting brown, blue and pink to seal an impressive 4-1 victory. Nav's 100% record is gone and Tony now enters his second period at the top of the Ladder.

I travelled to Spot On Hucknall to challenge Malc Grocock and we enjoyed a good quality match. I started very strongly, making a 59 break and a 57 clearance in the first frame. Malc then levelled the match at 1-1, with nice breaks of 25 and 34. I took a 2-1 lead with the help of a 48 break in frame three and I had a little bit of good fortune in the fourth frame, eventually winning the frame and match by potting the final blue. It was a good attacking match and a rare away win for me which moves me up to 22nd position.
