Dale Prime successfully fought off the challenge of 18th placed Mark Taylor with a 3-2 victory at Lenton Liberal Club. This was only Mark's second defeat in eleven matches. Dale played very well, making breaks of 62 and 38. He remains in 9th position.

Wayne Smith won a scrappy first frame against Manfred Corbin but the standard improved in the second frame, both players having breaks of 35 and Manfred managed to win it to level the scores at 1-1. Wayne won a tactical third frame before also taking the next to secure a 3-1 win. Wayne holds on to 56th and Manfred stays in 66th.

Patrick Ashurst's seventh win in eight matches sees him retain 4th position. His opponent, Wayne Martin, suffered a rare 4-0 whitewash at the hands of his Spot On Hucknall team-mate who was in fine form, making several 30 odd breaks and a lovely 67. Wayne - whose highest break of the evening was 36 - has now lost three of his last five matches.
