Mark Taylor travelled to Ivanhoe in Ashby for his third match of the season against Jacob Moore. It was a high quality encounter, Jacob making a 35 break and Mark having a run of 53, but it was Mark who maintained his 100% record with a narrow 3-2 victory. This win sees Mark climb to 36th position on the Ladder. He has already climbed an impressive 16 places since the start of the season.

Sam Burton's game has clearly improved since he started having coaching from Michael Holt and this was demonstrated by his 3-0 victory over Lee Thorn at Spot On Hucknall. Sam remains in 32nd position and Lee in 40th.
