Yesterday was Super Saturday on the Ladder with no fewer than 7 matches played and there were some good results for 4 Challengers who made decent progress in their quest to climb up the Ladder.
Wayne Smith played his first match and won 3-0 against Warren Benjamin. Wayne moves off the bottom of the Ladder and climbs 7 places to 66th. He will now be IMMUNE for 3 days, allowing him to select his next opponent without fear of receiving a challenge.
Adam Hussain climbs to 9th position thanks to a hard fought 4-3 victory over his County team-mate Ant McMahon who drops to 10th. That's back to back wins for Adam who appears to have found some form.
Gary Spencer had a terrific 3-0 win against Andrew Brooke which catapults him up to 19th position.
Nav Hussain held on to top spot thanks to a 3-0 win against Ben Cooper. Nav has now been at the top of the Ladder for 13 days and he still has a 100% win record, albeit he has only played 4 matches.
Patrick Ashurst inflicted a rare defeat on the much improved Sam Burton. Patrick's 3-0 win was his third in a row.
Jordan Parnham successfully defended 36th position with a 3-0 reverse of Alan Caulton who remains 41st.
Manfred Corbin got his first win on the Ladder and the first of many no doubt. He beat Mohsin Faiz 3-0 and he climbs to 64th position, five places higher than where he started his campaign.
