Sam Burton potted the pink at the end of the first frame to lead 1-0 against Dan Moll at The Towers. Sam then went on to win the next two frames as well for a terrific 3-0 victory that sees him climb into the top 16 for the first time. This is Sam's third win in a row and it moves him above Malc Grocock in Spot On Hucknall's Club Bonus competition.

The only other match played yesterday resulted in a 3-1 win for Shane Miles against Danny Cresswell. After losing his first match of the campaign, Shane has gone on to win his next five matches and he sits in 53rd position on the Ladder.
