Notts Amateur Snooker Championship

Guy Dennis is through to the Last 16 after receiving a walkover. His scheduled oponent, Ben Green, is unable to play the match which was scheduled for today.

Yesterday's results:

Four-time winner of the Championship, Bash Maqsood, also progresses to the Last 16 thanks to a 4-0 victory over last season's runner-up John Forbes. Bash had breaks of 69 and 74 in a comprehensive win at BCI Snooker Centre.

Cary Davies, who was knocked out of the championship at this stage last season, beat Lee Crombie 3-0 to reach the Last 16 of this season's tournament.
