Andrew Diacopoulos elected to relinquish home advantage and play his quarter-final match at opponent Wayne Martin's house. Andrew went 2-0 up but Wayne took the third frame to reduce the deficit. Wayne looked on course to take the the fourth frame too, but he missed a blue trying to get onto the pink and Andrew cleared up to lead 3-1. This proved to be a turning point as Andrew took the next frame to seal an excellent 4-1 victory and a place in the semi-finals.

Intermediate Handicap Snooker Championship

Adam Moss led 2-0 against Lee Thorn, but Lee managed to win the next two frames to force the decider. The match could not have finished closer, Lee forcing a re-spot but then agonisingly fouling on the black to hand the victory to Adam.
