Frame 6

Keith 73-66 Wayne

Frame 7
Wayne took the lead thanks to a 32 break but Keith hung in there, keeping things tight going into the colours. Keith potted green, brown, blue and pink for a nice 18 break to pinch the frame and lead the match 4-3.
Keith 49-36 Wayne

Frame 8
Both players started this frame with some lovely long pots but neither could capitalise with any sizeable breaks. However a loose shot from Keith presented Wayne with a great chance and this time his cueball control was excellent as he compiled a nice 39 break. Keith came back to the table and potted a red, but he missed the black and conceded the frame. Match now level at 4-4.
Wayne 53-2 Keith

Frame 9
Keith was in first with a nice little 16 break. Wayne potted a red and then snookered Keith behind the brown. Keith missed the reds three times giving Wayne 12 penalty points and also leaving him with an easy red. From this chance Wayne potted three red-blues but amazingly snookered himself on the next red! He fouled and left Keith with an easy red. It was now getting very tense and Keith could only muster a run of 7. Wayne was in next, potting red, blue, red, but he then went in-off the blue! This was terrific stuff for the spectators but probably not so enjoyable for Keith and Wayne! Keith was straight in again, potting red, brown, red and a sublime green from which he deep-screwed the cueball to develop two reds that were tied up by the pink. The break continued with a red, pink, red, green, yellow, green, brown and blue for a frame and match winning 34.

Many thanks to Spot On Hucknall for the use of their facilities and also to Anthony Hamilton for the use of his Star table.

Also a huge thanks to Patrycja Piotrowska for refereeing the first session and to Peter Ogburn for refereeing the second session.
