Scott McIntyre is the Champion of Division 5
Congratulations to Scott who is a worthy champion, having only lost two matches all season. He also recorded the division’s highest break of 59.
It was a very close season, with Paul Broad, Tony and Andy all competing right to the end for the runner-up spot, Paul just taking it thanks to his superior frame difference.
As a reward for their top-two finishes, both Scott and Paul qualified for the end-of-season Alan Cunningham Trophy and they have already won their first round matches, great wins against Jacob Reynolds and Wayne Martin respectively. Well done guys!
All seven players in this division have confirmed they will be back next season, which is great news.
The 2026/27 season will kick off on 1st October. I will be in touch around late August / early September to start collecting entry fees. Until then, have a great summer!
