Steve Bestwick is the Champion of Division 4
Congratulations to Steve who is the champion of Division 4, just edging Nick and Richard, who finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Nick and Richard finished level on points and frame difference. However Nick takes the runner-up spot thanks to his 3-2 victories against Richard, both home and away.
As a reward for their top-two finishes, both Steve and Nick qualified for the end-of-season Alan Cunningham Trophy. Sadly they were both drawn against two in-form players in the first round, Steve losing 0-3 away to Patrick Ashurst and Nick losing 1-3 at home to Notts Amateur winner Andrew Diacopoulos.
All six players in this division have confirmed they will be back next season, which is great news.
The 2026/27 season will kick off on 1st October. I will be in touch around late August / early September to start collecting entry fees. Until then, have a great summer!
