Nav Hussain wins the Open Singles Championship

Congratulations to Nav Hussain on winning the 2025 Open Singles Snooker Championship. Nav defeated Wayne Martin 4-0 in a one sided final at Spot On Hucknall.

Frame 1:
Wayne into an early lead but some poor safety allowed Nav back into the frame. The frame went down to the colours and some excellent pots gave Nav the lead.

Frame 2:
Similar to frame 1, very competitive to the colours. Wayne had a super chance to level things up but missed a difficult green. Nav didn’t need another chance and promptly made it 2-0.

Frame 3:
Nav got in early here making a great break of 46 only to miss the pink. This presented Wayne with a good chance but he couldn’t make enough and was punished. Three nil to Nav.

Frame 4:
Wayne again got in and started to play like we know he can, getting 27 in front with one red left on. A sloppy safety let Nav back into the frame and he quickly cleared the table with a break of 31 to take the frame and match.
