Andrew Brooke becomes the fifth player to occupy top spot after a terrific 3-2 win against Patrick Ashurst who managed to hold on to the position for 23 days. Andrew took a 2-0 lead but Patrick wasn't about to relinquish his hard earned position easily and he fought back to level the match at 2-2. A close decider was edged by Andrew for his third win in a row. He has climbed a total of 30 places since the start of the campaign.

Andy Wright and Lee Thorn were inolved in a superb match that took over four hours to complete. The first six frames were shared and Andy went ahead in the decider. But Lee pegged him back with some excellent tactical play and it eventually came down to the black, which Andy managed to sink with a thin cut into the yellow pocket for a 4-3 victory. Andy climbs to 39th position.
