Moe Anyanwu started with a 36 break and went 2-1 up against Joe Reynolds but former English Under-14 champion Joe is a quality player and he gradually started to find his form, making breaks of 51 and 31 in frame four to level the match at 2-2. Another nice break of 44 in frame five saw Joe take a 3-2 lead, but Moe wasn't about to give up easily. Moe played well and he was faced with a pot on the black to force a decider, but he missed it and Joe punished the miss, potting the black to seal a hard earned 4-2 win. Joe's sixth straight win sees him climb another place to 40th. He is one of only seven players who still have a 100% win record.
