It took a re-spotted black in the deciding frame to separate Tim Hudson and Shane Fella. Tim won an excellent match 4-3 and he climbs to 44th position on the Ladder.
Selina Dean remains in 58th position after fighting off the challenge of Paul Nicholas at BCI Snooker Centre. The first two frame were very close but Selina won them both, the second on a re-spotted black, to lead 2-0. In the third frame Selina's clinical potting proved decisive as she secured frame and match 3-0.
