Senior Handicap Snooker Championship

Gary Spencer will play the defending champion Steve Donner in the final of this season's tournament after they both came through their semi-final matches yesterday.

Gary beat Chris Winter 3-0 at Spot On Sneinton in a tight match which contained some fantastic safety battles.

Steve beat Wayne Martin 3-0 on Wayne's home table. Steve took the first frame on the black and then a scrappy second frame. In the third frame he made a very good 59 clearance to secure a fine victory.

Holgates Masters

Keith Holgate is through to the semi-finals of this season's tournament thanks to a good 3-1 away win against Manfred Corbin. Keith - who had a knock of 56 in this match - joins Andrew Diacopoulos, Chris Winter and Nav Hussain in the semi-final draw which will take place later this afternoon.
