Notts Amateur Snooker Championship

Guy Dennis is through to the last 16 thanks to an excellent 4-3 victory over Dave Bolton at Welcome Institute. Dave went 2-0 up, winning the second frame after needing 2 snookers. Guy then reeled off the next three franes with the help of a few small breaks, the highest being a nice 57. Dave won the next to make it 3-3 and then after a good run of the balls, Guy won the decider on the blue.

Gold Handicap KO

Lea Bradshaw (0) beat Ishan Seth (+21) 2-1. Slow and scrappy first frame with blue, pink and black out of commission. Ultimately Ishan winning it comfortably in the end. Lea then took the second frame comfortably with a 27 break and he went on to take the deciding frame with a break of 29 and a colours clearance to clinch frame and match.

Dan Moll (-7) beat Warren Benjamin (+35) 2-0, Dan making a 40 break in the first frame.
