Steven Hughes went 1-0 up against Selina Dean but she immediately responded by taking the next to level at 1-1. Steven hit back to win the next for a 2-1 lead and Selina looked to draw level again as she went 18 points ahead in the fourth with just pink and black remaining. But Steven wanted to avoid the decider so he tried for the snooker, which he got. Selina failed to escape from the snooker meaning Steven could now win. All credit to him as he potted pink and black to pinch the frame and secure an impressive 3-1 victory.
