Jon wins at Stapleford & Bramcote Conservative Club
Situated on the main Derby Road through Stapleford, the Stapleford & Bramcote Conservative Club is a lovely friendly club with two full size snooker tables taking pride of place.
The boys could have stayed here all night, reminiscing with some wonderful club members about the good old days when the local snooker leagues were jam packed with teams and players could wait all night just to get a game. One of the members also had a whip round and collected a tenner for the Tour funds. They really are a great bunch of guys and a credit to the club.
Both Steve and Jon potted very well during the frame. It was neck and neck all the way but Jon dispatched the pink to seal victory and reduce his arrears to just one frame yet again.
