Steve clears the colours to steal a win at the Welbeck Club
The Welbeck Club is located within the Welbeck Estate, which extends to some 15,000 acres and straddles the borders of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. It lies within the area of North Nottinghamshire known as the Dukeries.
The Club houses a full size Geo Wright & Sons snooker table in probably the most beautiful room the boys have played in on the Tour. Two teams from this club play in The Worksop Snooker League and it must be the venue that visiting teams look forward to playing in the most.
Steve was trailing for most of the frame but a terrific clearance of the colours saw him pinch the frame and take the lead with just two more frames remaining.
