BCI AJ climb two places to third following good away win
Monday Team League
Spot On Hucknall closed the gap on the leaders Lenton Liberal Club with a fantastic 6-0 win against The Venue, Malc Grocock and Darryl Clarke producing breaks of 55 and 42 respectively.
Lenton Liberal Club continued their winning streak with a strong 5-1 win against Hidden Spot. Danial Kamran won the first frame for Hidden Spot, but Lenton then reeled off the next four and Dale Prime had a nice 52 break to help his team stay three points clear of their nearest rivals.
BCI AJ had a solid 4-2 away win against Carlton Liberal Club despite the home team bringing in league legend Ian Ward. Carlton regulars Kevin Barlow and James Baillie won the last two frames to salvage two valuable points.
Next week will be interesting as the top two teams play each other, as do the bottom two teams.
