The Venue displaced Lenton Liberal at the top of the Monday night league by way of a great 4-2 win over The Towers.

Singles wins for Andy Wain and Don Merry as well as a scotch doubles win sends them to the summit.

BCI Hotshots 3 v 3 Lenton Liberal

Lenton were held at BCI despite going 2 nil up after the first singles frames.

Tony Collins, Kwok Yip, and Josh Morley then contributing for BCI in winning 3 points.

However, Phil Connolly did enough for Lenton to even things up on the night and keep Lenton in touch of the league title.

BCI AJ 4 v 2 Carlton B

BCI AJ creeping up the league with another good win, this time defeating the dangerous Carlton B.

Wins for Jacob Reynolds, Tom Vamplew and Ash Field doing the damage on the night.

Carlton winning 2 singles frames by way of Bob Walker and Dan Di Folco.

Carlton A 3 v 3 BCI B

Bottom side Carlton A had a great result against BCI B, drawing with the BCI side and gaining 3 valuable points.

Wins in the scotch pairs and singles for Kev Barlow and James Baillie doing the damage.

BCI obtaining their 3 points by way of wins for Marc Morrisey, Liam Morrisey and Shawn Kilie.

Triple S  4 v 2 Spot on Hucknall

Last match of the week was between Triple S and Spot on Hucknall, and this had some high-quality moments.

First blood went to Spot On via Patrick Ashurst defeating Tony Morgan.

Triple S struck back as Steve Donner defeated Joe Reynolds with a great 45 break.

Steve Donner and Dave Bolton then defeated Patrick Ashurst and Wayne Martin in the scotch pairs. The Triple S paring making a brilliant 60 break along the way.

Wayne Martin pulled one back for Spot On by defeating WDBS German Open Champion Dave Bolton to bring things down to the final frame.

Tony Morgan made an excellent 41 break in defeating Joe Reynolds and Triple S winning the match.
