Lenton Liberal 4 -2 The Towers

League leaders Lenton stay on top following a tight win against The Towers.

Dan Kamran got Lenton off to a perfect start by defeating Lea Bradshaw.

Lea Bradshaw then pulled one back for Towers by defeating Phil Connolly.

The doubles was a pivotal game in this match with Dan Kamran and Jon Shapland narrowly defeating Dan Moll and Andy Diacopoulos by 4 points to make the match 3-1.

Lenton’s Phil Connolly then got the better of Dan Moll to make it 4-1 before Andy Diacopoulos pulled one back for Towers.

Towers have moved up the league over the past few weeks and now sit in fifth position.

BCI AJ 2 – 4 Triple S

Another close match going the way of the Skegby side and keeping them in 3^rd position.

BCI went 2-0 up through Jacob Reynolds and Talvin Mudhar.

Triple S then made it even via new players Rob Mullis and Adam Cuprit in the pairs.

Triple S then accelerated to the win via wins for Cuprit and Keith Waterhouse.

Carlton A 1 – 5 BCI Hotshots

Another bad night for Carlton A, keeping them rooted to the bottom of the league and searching for their second win of the season.

Kev Barlow getting Carlton’s sole frame in his defeat of Shane Fella.

BCI had wins from Tony Collins, Kwok Yip and Shane Fella leaving them 4^th in the table.

Spot on Hucknall 5 – 1 BCI B

Last match this week saw Hucknall retain second in the league with a great win over BCI B.

Joe Reynolds made a break of 78 in his frame with Shawn Kilkie.

Patrick Ashurst then doubled the lead with a win over Liam Morrisey.

Ben Cooper and new signing Ellis Abbot then put the Hucknall side clear with a win in the pairs.

Joe Reynolds delivered the goods again before Shawn Kilkie stopped the rot for BCI B with a win over Patrick Ashurst.

The Venue v Carlton B is to be rearranged for another week.
