Monday Team League

With only three weeks remaining, only eight points separate the top six teams in the race to become Nottingham Snooker League champions.

The league is hotting up!!!!

BCI Hotshots 2-4 Spot on Hucknall

Spot on Hucknall moved within 2 points of the top spot with a solid away win at BCI Hotshots.

With the opening singles games shared it came down to the pairs and remaining singles to separate the teams.

Daz Clarke and Ben Coopper coming from 40 behind in the pairs to put Hucknall ahead.

BCI’s Kwok Yip then pulled one back with a great win over Joe Reynolds before fast improving Ellis Abbott clinched the match for Hucknall.

The Venue 3-3 Lenton Liberal

This was a close one. Lenton going 2 nil up via Dan Kamran and Jon Shapland.

The Venue’s Andy Wain and Don Merry then winning the pairs to level the match.

Singles wins for Andy Wain and then Dan Kamran leaving these sides tied on the night.

Lenton remain on top of the league, but their lead now cut to 2 points.

BCI AJ 3-3 BCI B

This BCI Derby also finished in a tie and leaves both sides fighting for 7^th place.

Marc Morrisey and Shawn Kilkie betting BCI B off to the ideal start, going 2 nil up.

Jacob Reynolds and Tom Vamplew then winning the pairs to level the match.

Liam Morrisey then putting BCI B one from victory only for Tom Vamplew to snatch the draw for BCI AJ.

The Towers 5-1 Carlton A

The Towers continued their good form with another big win.

Wins for Bob Gould, Andy Taylor and Andy Diacopoulos racking up the points before Kev Barlow pinched a singles win back for Carlton A.

A few more wins like this and Towers will be right amongst the league leaders.

A blank week for Triple S this week, but they will be back in action next week.
