The Towers and Triple S qualify for the Knockout Cup Quarter Finals

It was cup week this week and we had two tremendous first round matches.

Spot on Hucknall 1 v 4 The Towers

A close match that shifted in Towers favour during the pairs frame.

Dan Moll and Bob Gould needed a snooker with the pink and black on the table.

Hucknall’s Daz Clarke potted a great pink but saw the white go into the center pocket.

Bob Gould then potted a fantastic pink before Dan Moll punished the Hucknall pairing by potting a simple black to take a 2-1 lead.

Hucknall never recovered and are in the hat for the quarter finals.

Triple S 3 v 2 Lenton Liberal

The second match went down to the wire with Triple S also progressing to the last 8.

Triple S went 2 up with great wins for Terry Dowson and Rob Mulliss.

Back came Lenton, winning the pairs frame and then Danial Kamran taking down Rob Mulliss.

Terry Dowson finished matters off, defeating Lenton captain Jon Shapland and getting his side safely into the next round.

Its back to the league this week and just for Josh Morley and the BCI Hotshots, here is the league table.

They are top of the league; can they stay there?
