Spot on Hucknall whitewash Belvedere and go top of the league

Spot on Hucknall go top of the league albeit temporarily as the top two sides didn’t play this week.

A brilliant 5-0 away win against Belvedere allowing them to jump up the league table.

Belvedere 0 v 5 Spot on Hucknall

Excellent performance all round for the Hucknall team away at Newark.

Wins for Patrick Ashurst, Wayne Martin, Daz Clarke, and Ellis Abbott at this fantastic club doing enough.

No big breaks but some heavy scores with both Ashurst and Martin exceeding 100 points each.

BCI Hotshots 3 v 2 BCI AJ

BCI Hotshots got back to winning form this week. Captain Josh Morley making sure they were all in the club practicing before this BCI derby match.

Great wins for Tony Collins, Kwok Yip and Josh Morley putting the hotshots 3-0 in front.

Back came BCI AJ though in taking the last two frames. Ash Field and Jacob Reynolds getting what could be vital points for the bottom placed side.

Some good breaks as well. Tony Collins making 35 for the hotshots and Jacob Reynolds making 44 for AJ.

Carlton Liberal 3 v 2 Spot on Sneinton

Carlton got back to winning form again this week, pipping Spot on Sneinton in a very close match.

Early doors it looked like Sneinton were on the rampage as they took the first two frames. Nick Sharp and Terry Thompson looking good for Sneinton.

Back came Carlton with a win in the pairs and then singles wins for Rob Walker and Kev Barlow to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.

The Towers 4 v 1 Lenton Liberal

Last match this week saw The Towers back up last weeks whitewash victory with another solid win, this time against Lenton Liberal.

Wins for Lea Bradshaw, Andy Diacopoulos, Bob Gould, and Andy Taylor getting the Mansfield side well ahead.

Dan Kamran getting a frame back for Lenton in the later stages.

Some breaks in this tie as well as Lea Bradshaw made 34 and Andy Diacopoulos made 36 and 33.
