Keith Holgate is the Champion of Division 2
Congratulations to Keith who romped to victory in Division 2 of the Singles League. Keith lost only one match all season (against Patrick Hort) and he also recorded the division’s highest break of 82.
Patrick Ashurst finished runner-up, just two points ahead of Alan and Moe who finished 3rd and 4th respectively.
As a reward for their top-two finishes, both Keith and Patrick qualified for the end-of-season Alan Cunningham Trophy. Keith faces a tough opening match against Kevin Barlow, but Patrick has already won his first round match, a 3-0 victory over Steve Bestwick.
All seven players in this division have confirmed they will be back next season, which is great news.
The 2026/27 season will kick off on 1st October. I will be in touch around late August / early September to start collecting entry fees. Until then, have a great summer!
