Wayne Martin presented with Highest Century Break Trophy in recognition of his magnificent 130 break

Wayne Martin was presented with Nottingham Snooker’s prestigious Highest Century Break Trophy on Sunday 23 June 2019 in recognition of the magnificent 130 total clearance he achieved during the Hucknall Open on 26 May 2019.

The trophy was first awarded in February 2009 when Joe Jogia made a 100 break during the Bulwell Open.  The second recipient was Chris Keogan thanks to this 106 break in the Masters September 2011 .

Just three months later the trophy belonged to Sean Hopkin who made a 116 break during the Bulwell Open.

Kyren Wilson – currently ranked 8th in the world – then fired in this terrific 128 total clearance in April 2012.

Wilson’s break remained the highest for over 7 years and the trophy will now stay with Martin until another great player makes a break higher than 130.  That could take a good few years…
