Arnold Civil Defence secure their first win of the season

Arnold Civil Defence got their first win of the season with a fine 5-3 reverse of BCI Masters. Great to see Nottingham Snooker legend Malc Belshaw getting the cue out again, he won both his frames against James Robinson.
Another close one between Spot on Reds and BCI B, the last two frames changed this match with the dangerous Moe Anyanwu defeating Paul Wainwright Jnr to take the spoils on the night.
The Towers continue to rack up some impressive results and applying the pressure on Spot On Hucknall. A solid 6-2 win against Welcome Institute coming with Andy Diacopoulos in fine form ahead of the Notts Amateur final with breaks of 32 and 41 in his defeat of Martin Caunt.
A cracking match at Phoenix with Hucknall taking the spoils by way of a very close 5-3 victory. Match of the night between former Notts Amateur runner-up Steve Capewell and 2019 Notts Amateur champion Wayne Martin. In the first frame it was Steve in first with a 35 break before a run of 49 from Wayne. Sadly this wasn’t enough and Capewell cleared the table to take the first frame. The second frame equally as good, this time it was Martin in first with a 36 break and following a safety error from Capewell, Martin then made a 42 break to seal the match for Hucknall.
